CN Traveller – March 2020 – Aman Kyoto

In October 2019 I was lucky enough to be the first person to stay at Aman’s beautiful new property in Kyoto, Japan, ahead of its official opening in November. I had three days exploring the gorgeous grounds, suites, spa and restaurants, photographing the hotel for Aman and CN Traveller. My trip unfortunately coincided with Typhoon Hagibis, one of Japan’s worst storms on record, but I can think of worse places to ride out a typhoon than at Aman Kyoto! Proof that it’s beautiful in all weather!
