$Anyone else feeling incredibly unsettled? The horrific scenes in Beirut this week causing utter devastation for so many, plus an oil spill causing untold damage to the environment, on top of the nightmare that is covid, and people losing their lives due to the colour of their skin and constantly fighting for deserved respect #blacklivesmatter. I\'ve never felt more rattled.⁣ ⁣ The one positive is watching so many people run to help those in need, whether digging in the rubble, helping and watching over people who are isolating, or joining peaceful protests.⁣ ⁣ There\'s beauty in the madness, but what a year already, and it\'s only August.$

$Our favourite view, from our favourite spot for sundowners. It was our ritual, and we’d always head there as soon she’d picked me up from the airport in Phuket.⁣ ⁣ I’ll forever miss our sunrise beach walks with Captain, our obsession with bubble tofu from our fave little street cafe, driving around Phuket with Captain at the helm, our shopping trips where you tried to get me to be more adventurous with my fashion choices, hilarious trips to get laser facials which left me with third degree burns, our girls\' weekends whenever you were over in Europe, your endless advice and encouragement, and so many more moments.⁣ ⁣ Devastated to lose my kind, brave, beautiful, wonderful friend Jeanette this week. I love you. Fuck you cancer$
